It’s a new Monday link-up, yay! I won’t go into how it works, since it’s about to be pretty self-explanatory but I’m pumped about it!
This weekend, I put Lillie in this adorable little outfit to go visit with my aunt & family as they were on campus for Fall Premiere. Unfortunately, that’s not what we ended up wearing because we are currently traveling down the devil path of potty training. But we did get to visit Joy & Lady, [who probably wouldn’t care if we were walking around in pee-pee pants as it was too hot for them to even move]. It was a good way to spend the afternoon.
This weekend, I visited the new man in my life again. [Sorry Alfred] And if it’s possible to get cuter, well he’s doing it in tenfold. Also, I always ask before posting pictures of him – even though I know Emilie doesn’t mind – I remember being so annoyed that people were plastering my baby all over the internet before I really got a chance. So, heads up to those of you out there – make sure & ask. This weekend, I got to crafting. Our 10 year high school reunion festivities are planned for this upcoming weekend and when my friend Sunny asked if I could make a buffalo head for our float I did what any self-proclaimed crafster did – I made that shit my bitch. I wasn’t planning on doing a DIY post on it, but I did manage to take a few pictures of the process. I love me some paper mache. This weekend, I ran 3.5 miles on the dreadmill while watching Zombieland. I am so going to be ready for the Zombie Apocolypse as I am totally following Rule #1 to the max. If you haven’t seen the movie & don’t mind a little blood & gore, total recommendation.
This weekend, I hung out with some of my high school classmates to work on the float for the parade and it felt like not a day had passed. I can’t wait to see them tomorrow to finish working on the float. [Which for those of you who read this – we are meeting at 6pm at the Volunteer Fire Department].
What did you do for your weekend?

YOU SHOULD DO THAT RUN!! (I've never done it, I'm just assuming it's fun. You either run from zombies, or I think you can BE a zombie!)
"The devil path of potty training" hahahahaha. :) Good thing she's cute!
That outfit is adorable, but it's too bad she didn't get to wear it. We are getting ready to go down "the devil path of potty training" (hilarious, by the way) and I am NOT looking forward to it.
hahaha "we are currently traveling down the devil path of potty training" sounds terrible! my nephew is 3 and my sister has been trying to get him interested and he wants absolutely nothing to do with potty training. I do not envy her.
